Here you'll find all the events outside of competitive play taking place at the Tournament of Ages! Every year, hundreds are drawn to the many events and competitions offered at the Tournament of Ages! Below is details on smaller contests and events that you can take part in!
Rhyme Battles
Here is a contest of wordplay and wit, to burn your opponent with rhymes that you spit. The sharpest of tongues and the quickest of minds, will rise to the top and leave tryhards behind. So step up your game and try if you dare, to be the last standing with lavish fanfare.
A rhyme battle is a timed game where two contestants try to upstage each other by delivering improvised poetry. The goal of the contest is to impress the audience by (playfully) mocking one's opponent with creative verses.

Photo Contest
Let's be honest - when you visit the Tournament of Ages, you're likely going to be so distracted with everything that you'll forget to take pictures. Fortunately, we're going to be rewarding those who do! Capture the perfect moment and you could claim a prize for your epic photography!

Opening Ceremony
Charity Art Auction
On the first day of the Tournament of Ages, a grand fanfare is held at the Argent Coliseum at the heart of the tournament grounds. Representatives of the races of Azeroth are presented to cheering crowds, followed by a spectacular fireworks show.

This event christens the Tournament of Ages and the beginning of an exciting week among the races of Azeroth.

Each year, artists come together at the Tournament of Ages to both showcase their work and to give freely to charity. The Charity Art Auction is an opportunity for artists to sell artwork while giving a cut of their earnings directly to a charitable organization.

Sword in the Skull
Silver Covenant and Sunreaver scouts were bewildered to discover yet another sword driven into the skull of a dragon just south of the tournament grounds. Still, every magical attempt to remove the sword has failed, yet something about it seems different than the previous one.
While the origins of the weapon remain a mystery, Argent priests have enough clairvoyance to recognize that the sword is waiting for its rightful wielder to claim it, and for those who fail, a deep-seeded mischief in the blade bestows a minor curse. Will you be able to pull the sword from the skull?

You will have two free attempts to pull the sword from the skull per day.

If you fail to pull the sword from the skull, your character will be afflicted by a random curse.

Anyone trained in the magical or holy schools will be able to lift this curse. You can also visit the Medical Tent for aid.

You must cure the first curse before returning to the sword.
Wonderlight Ball
On the last day of the Tournament of Ages, all are invited to dance and celebrate the champions of the tournament in a grand ball. Music, costume contests, and themed events end the Tournament of Ages with a bang! Whether alone or with a date, this event marks the end of a long week of revelry.
