Rules

 

AUCTIONEES

• If you wish to have your character auctioned you may only use one character. You are auctioning off you/your character's time for a date to the Wonderlight Ball, and cannot be on two characters at once.

• This event is for a platonic date to the Wonderlight Ball hosted at the end of the Tournament of Ages. Friendly interactions only.

• You will receive 50% of your earnings after the Wonderlight Ball while the remaining 50% is collected by the Tournament of Ages for future prizes and events. If you wish to donate your half, just let Se'lysona or Marnie know.

• You need to be present at the Wonderlight Ball, with your date, unless other arrangements have been made. If you no show then you will not receive your earnings and the bidder will be refunded. This will be confirmed with photo evidence or message from your bidder.

• This is a family-friendly event. Be courteous and keep anything your character says or does rated PG-13 while on the bidding stage.

• As always, absolutely no erotic roleplay of any sort is allowed as part of the date auction.

• Overlapping events: Please communicate to either Se'lysona or Marnie that you have an overlapping event so that we can arrange the order accordingly.

• You will be given 45 seconds to show after your name has been called, after that you will be bumped to the end of the line and/or removed.

• If you are uncomfortable with who is bidding on your character, let Se'lysona or Marnie know. We will handle it from there.

• Be respectful to your winning bidder. Improper, vulgar, or harassing conduct will have you barred from future auctions and potentially future Tournaments based on severity.

 

BIDDERS

• Please be mindful if needing to message Se'ly, Marnie, Shin or Tie Shan. We are oftentimes tabbing between different documents/discords to manage things while running the Date Auction.

• We need to address minors being able to bid. We already know that we age gate the auction itself for those who registered but we do need to extend that bidders to ensure that everyone is safe. Yes, this is a friendly auction and no romance is encouraged but we want to ensure that this is a safe and protected space. 

• You can only purchase ONE auctionee and their time but you are allowed to buy for others should you feel so inclined. Please specify this when you call out your bid if it is not for you! 

• Again - this is for a friendly date to the Wonderlight Ball. There is to be no inappropriate behaviors' on either end. 

• No heckling. It takes a lot for people to come up there so be polite.
