Rules

1) All contestants must sign up in advance. There are no level, class, race, or realm requirements. This is a RP cooking competition, which will test a character's cooking skill, creativity, and basic culinary prowess. That said, even a simple recipe made creatively and with style could be a winner!

2) The competition spans across three days, one Round per day. Each Round, contestants may cook any recipe they wish within the given category (appetizer, entree, or dessert), but they MUST utilize all 3 Mystery Ingredients.

3) This is an /emote-based contest, not /roll. After the Mystery ingredients are announced, contestants will be given 5 minutes to plan and 25 minutes to emote cooking. The Judges will taste each dish and ask the chefs about their dishes. Judges consider emote details, style, creativity, and cooking knowledge.

4) The contest will take place in 3 Rounds (1 per day). ALL chefs will compete all 3 days. We begin promptly at the start stime (9 pm) each night. Any participant that is more than 10 minutes late without notice and prior permission will be disqualified.

b) Day 2--Entree

c) Day 3--Dessert.

The Judges will consider the totality of each chef's dishes to choose our Top three Winners. Prizes will be given at the Closing Ceremonies on Saturday.

5) Contestants may use innate abilities (chi, frost/fire magic, shamanistic powers, etc.) with the caveat that no conjuring, summoning, or bringing in of outside spices, materials, etc. will be allowed. NOTE, while this usage may enhance your own presentation score, it does not give you an edge over other non-casting opponents. You will ICly have access to a fully stocked pantry, and standard kitchen equipment is ICly available (kitchen torches, blast chillers, ice cream machines, etc.). Chefs will be given banquets to use as cooking stations.

 

6) Judges will make final determinations. These are subjective and not open to debate.
